Yuvraj and Dinda helped as India beat Pakistan

Ahmadabad-Yuvraj Singh and Ashok Dinda helped as India beat Pakistan by 11 runs in 2nd T20 International at Ahmadabad on Friday.

Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez played a responsible knock scoring 55 runs in only 26 balls. He brought up his half-century in only 23 balls. Hafeez added 62 runs in only 23 balls with Umar Akmal for the 3rd wicket after Pakistan lost both their openers in fast succession.

Pakistan got off to a steady start as they scored 74 runs in the 1st 10 overs Nasir Jamshed and Ahmed Shehzad added 74 runs for the opening wicket in 60balls.They scored 48 runs off the 1st 5 overs after which the spinners came into the attack and slowed the scoring rate.
Earlier, Yuvraj starred with the bat as India reached 192 for 5 in the allotted 20 overs. Yuvraj Singh scored his highest Twenty20 score off 72 in just 35 balls, eclipse his earlier best of 70 against Australia in 2007.

Rahane and Gambhir took India off to a good start managing 44 runs off the first 4.4 overs after which Gambhir was dismissed. He struck 3 consecutive boundaries off Umar Gul in the 5th over of the match. Rahane scored 28 in 26 balls before he was caught and bowled by Gul.

The 7 ft 1 inch tall Mohammad Irfan bowled a tight line and concerned the batsmen with the steep bounce. His toe-crusher to Yuvraj caused some problem to the Indian all-rounder. Irfan gave away just 20 runs in his 4 overs.
Yuvraj Singh came back to strike seven massive sixes to help India pick up momentum. Along with Captain MS.Dhoni, Yuvraj added 97 runs for the 4th wicket. Virat Kohli looked in good touch a he stroked 27 runs in 22 balls before being run-out by Ajmal.

Earlier, Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and put India into bat first. Pakistan came into the game without any changes from the side that won the first encounter between the 2 teams. India, after declining short of a genuine spinner in the 1st game replaced Ravindra Jadeja with Ravichandran Ashwin.
